Choose DeShawn | Summer 2010

The reality of life after college hit me before college even started. Once I graduated high school I knew that it was my duty to my parents to better prepare myself for a future where I was not going to be a permanent fixture under their roof anymore.

With my time in college winding down, I know it's imperative that I have plan--a plan to move forward. I refuse myself the option of a "fall-back," which would only be to move back home.

Graduation is on the horizon, and finding work right out the gate is not going to be easy. Competition is inevitable. That is the reason for my creation of this blog. I wanted to develop a strategy and I knew marketing myself is a must.

My goal by May 2010 is secure an internship for Summer 2010.
